Senior Physiotherapist

Sara is a physiotherapist with over twelve years of clinical experience in private practice, specialising in women’s health, manual therapy, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy from the University of Aveiro, Portugal, and has worked extensively in multidisciplinary settings before relocating to Malta.

Sara has undertaken advanced training in pelvic health and integrative techniques, including Specialisation in Women’s, Men’s & Children’s Pelvic Health (Bwizer, Portugal), Advanced Techniques in Pelvic Physiotherapy (Formaterapia, Portugal), the Busquet Method (Novaphysio, Lisbon & Busquet Institute, France), and Low Pressure Fitness (Bwizer, Portugal). This expertise enables her to provide evidence-based, targeted treatment for a wide range of pelvic and orthopaedic concerns.

She is particularly passionate about supporting women through all stages of life — from prenatal and postnatal care to managing pelvic floor dysfunction, incontinence, and pelvic pain. Her approach is holistic, empathetic, and patient-focused, combining advanced clinical skills with a deep understanding of individual’s needs.

Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, Sara creates a welcoming and inclusive environment for patients of all backgrounds, helping them move with confidence and improve their quality of life.
