Samantha Bonnici is the owner of the clinic and a registered physiotherapist with 18 years of experience in this field. She is trained both in Malta and the UK where Samantha completed her MSc degree in Sports Medicine including a research study on the treatment of Achilles tendinopathies. Her sports experience includes work with the Scarlets Rugby team in Wales, the London Marathon, the Malta Olympic Committee and the Maltese athletes at the GSSE games in Malta and Andorra, the Malta National Female Basketball team, and at the Athletes Olympic Village during the London 2012 Olympics. She has also recently done workshops, lectures and training with the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra.
She spent 9 years studying and working in the UK, solely in private practice at clinics in Harley Street and Sloane Square in London, where she treated a wide variety of conditions ranging from post-surgery physiotherapy, repetitive strain injuries and sports injuries. She has also worked with world-renowned dance companies including the Matthew Bourne dance company during their London tour of ‘Swan Lake’, and with the dance crew on set of the popular film ‘Streetdance’ while filming in London.
Samantha is also a qualified Pilates instructor and uses acupuncture and trigger point dry needling therapy in conjunction with her physiotherapy treatment. She uses a very hands-on approach combined with specific exercise programmes for each client. Besides treating elite and amateur athletes with sports injuries, Samantha also enjoys treating musculoskeletal injuries specialising in the treatment of headaches, shoulder pain, jaw pain and tendinopathy rehabilitation.
She has also followed various courses on pain education and the treatment of persistent pain patients and works in liason with specialists psychotherapists in the management of chronic and persistent pain.
Jane, a Specialist Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist & Pilates Instructor has 20 years of clinical experience in the private sector, sports settings and in the community visiting patients in their home.
She has completed her MSc in Advanced Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy in the UK, where she spent 16 years working & studying, gaining experience in NHS teaching hospitals and private practice.
Jane has facilitated the setting-up, development and ongoing management of a large and dynamic multi-disciplinary team,offering high standards of physiotherapy, massage and specialist rehabilitation and hydrotherapy services to the private sector – in Chelsea, central London. She has also worked with a number of athletes with the Malta Olympic Committee locally and GSSE Games abroad.
Jane takes pride in providing detailed expert physiotherapy assessment, tailoring the treatment and evidence-based treatment programmes for each and every patient to facilitate their quick recovery from pain and/or injury. Jane’s expertise lies in the treatment of back, hip & shoulder girdles and lower-limb biomechanics. Jane has a special interest in treating musculoskeletal peri-natal patients. She has also worked extensively with top medical consultants and physiotherapists in London within specialist tertiary clinics, treating complex pain patients with hyper-mobility connective tissue disorders, an area on which she completed her research.
Jane is also an experienced Hydrotherapist, Acupuncturist, APPI Pilates Instructor. She has extensive experience in working remotely on expert physiotherapy panels for telephone triage and webcam online e-treating services.
Jake completed his Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy in 2016 at the University of Malta. Following his graduation, Jake was employed in a local private rehabilitation hospital within the field of orthopaedics, focusing on the rehabilitation of post joint replacements and traumatic injuries,
neurology, dealing mainly with stroke and Parkinson’s disease patients and within the field of sports injuries.
The fields of sport biomechanics and sports injuries have always been an area of major interest. As part of his studies Jake was given the opportunity to travel abroad to Holland and supplement his knowledge within the field of orthopaedics and sports rehabilitation. Following his graduation Jake

Following his graduation part-took in a number of postgraduate courses and he currently processes certification of an APPI pilates matwork level 1, as well as certificates in dry needling and Chinese medicine as well as manual therapy from Sheffield Hallam University.
